Biography
Glass as a medium is both Fragile and enduring. It can be formed into any shape. The possibilities are endless. Our fragile ecosystem directly inspires me and I hope to connect the viewer to this. I use glass sheets, paints, frit, minerals and metals and fuse them into glass at high temperatures to create textures, color, interest and depth. I may fire one piece several times until I get the desired effect. The glass is then often shaped in another firing usually on custom clay sculptures I have made and fired. I work out of my home Studio in the rolling hills of Pope Valley, Napa.

Art Association Napa Valley is supported, in part, by the Napa County Arts & Culture Commission.
